    Bow arm question??

Hey brothers at full draw and settling my pin on target I have a bad habit of jerking up with my bow arm at the squeeze of the trigger. Anyone got some advise to help me curb this? I shoot about 50 to 75 arrows a day and this is still happening. Thanks for the advise and help!

Concentrate more and try to continue aiming at "the spot" until the arrow hits.

Are you gripping the bow or letting it rest in the palm of an open hand at full draw? This maybe?

If you do this even on your first shot, I'd have to say it's mental. If not til after 30+ shots I'd say fatigue.

Yea I guess it's mental because it comes and goes. But it comes more often than I like.

Sound like nerves...I had a bad problem of holding my breath when I drew and holding it until I shot...im sure thats not it for you but taking deep breaths while at full draw help settle my nerves...A big ole chaw of levi helps too

I have been doing the same thing
I was shooting with open hand
So today old man next door suggest to lightly wrap index finger around grip
shoots started to group better so tried index and middle finger 2" groups at 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 yrds don't have the room for a 50yrd shot

Yep on both, but I do find myself holding my breath at times before the shot. Didn't really think about that i will try that. Thanks!!

Also bring the pin down on target instead of bringing it up.
