Verizon guys with text/email capable game cameras?

I need to change how i operate/check my camera card situation. If i could have them emailed/texted to me that would be fantastic. I did a search and read through a few threads but wasnt a lot of info on Verizon and game cams.

I have service where i need to put these cameras, so not worried about that. The one spot that is borderline i am not against using the antenna.

    My questions are:

-What are my camera brand/model options without breaking the bank?

-What do i need to do/change on my Verizon plan?

-How many cameras can i set up? Am i limited to "one per line" or can i get several?

    Thanks for the help/suggestions.

I thought all cameras had to run on the GSM networks to send pics and that means AT&T or T-Mobile. Verizon is not a GSM network. Maybe there are cameras for Verizon also but I couldn't find any when I was looking so I went with AT&T sim cards.

Yes, that's what I did. Went to the AT&T store and got a SIM card with unlimited texts for $20 per month. They will text or email to you.

Smart Scouter was founded by Randy Angwin to educate and provide information about the use and benefits of thermal imaging cameras and similar devices.

This one might work not sure though

The problem with that one is the cost per month. If you go with a GSM network like AT&T you get unlimited pics for $20 per month. With smartscouter its $50 per month for 1000 pics.

So i can just go into at&t and get a SIM card only? I dont have to get anything else? Like a line or contract with them?

IMO the cheapest/best option is the dlc covert black ops. Just go buy an AT&T go phone SIM card and get the 9.99/mnth 1000 text feature. I love mine. I love waking up and checking email to see what came into the feeder. Only problem is the pic quality is a bit choppy (see attached).

That is correct. Go to the store and tell them you need a SIM card. Get a pay as you go voice plan and add unlimited texting to it for $20 per month. Voice usage is .10 per minute but you will never use the voice plan, just the unlimited texts.

It's only 9.99 if you add a line to your AT&T account. It's $20 if you're not already an AT&T customer.

Not sure if this will help or not but a lot of the new Verizon phones now have sim cards.
