2" rough country leveling kit for 2012 Chevy silverado 4x4 question

Are the control arms aluminum or non? Need to know so I know which kit to order. Thanks for the help.

I was going to get the rough country lift on my nissan and after calling around, they said rough country lift kits are probly the cheapest an most crap ones out there. Ride quality is absolutely terrible and the lift starts to sag after a while. Just my 2 cents.

They usually aren't aluminum, I put the same kit on my 2007 and mine aren't aluminum. It's usually tahoes and suburbans with aluminum control arms. It's real easy to check, just crawl under and look, if they are shiny silver they are aluminum if not they will be black. I bet they aren't aluminum though

I haven't had any trouble with mine and ride quality didn't change at all either

On my 2011 they are steel. Yours probably are too. Go stick a magnet on em. I bought the same kit havent gotten around to instal it yet.

Ive heard good things about the RC leveling kit. All leveling kits are pretty much the same when you break them down. Looking at throwing one on my 1500 in the next couple months.
