Life in Georgetown,Tx ...?

So I will be moving to Georgetown in the next few months. I will rent a place for a year before I buy so I can get a feel for where I want to live.

How is Georgetown..if you could live anywhere in Georgetown where would it be ( not that I can) but just want to know.

What's the best school for a young child...She is in Grace private in Houston now.

Any other info would be great. Thank you.

GISD is good. There are other options though.
Suncity is retirement living. Gtown prolly offers small acreage lots with a house that is affordable outside of town.
Lots of dove up there. Not from from granger for public hunt bow hogs. Also have the san Gabriel river for fishing and white bass.

It's a great community for family life! Schools are good. Lots of TBHers close. PM me and I can give yo any info you need.

I live out in the country towards Weir. Lots of stuff locally to do. Tons of dove. If I can help just holla.

Get her into the ford elementary school. That is west georgetown. Not going to find a better school in the district. West georgetown is the nicer side as for woods and trees and the lake. Very nice and safe comuity. Good luck trying to find a rental. I have a friend that is building now that may rent his house out...
