I go over there 3-5 times a year. I have eaten more than one fish that looks just like a speckled trout. I try to stay away from the fresh water fish.

My favorite site is the Forbidden City.
In Shanghai, the museum is awesome. For dinner, check out a French restaraunt that is called M on the Bund. Try to get an outside seat for the best view of Shanghai at night. Reservations required.

Spent 2 weeks over there with Landrover, actually.

Loved the food (first week). After that, was dying for a Burger.

Macau nightlife is out of this world. Same for Hong Kong. Oh my the stories! Korean women have a an affinity for Texans.

Some great posts! I am cracking up on some of them. It truly is a small world.

I am there working on an Android device for the company I work for. This is year 5 of working off and on in Taiwan and/or China.

Landrover, if you head this way I would for sure check out Taipei, Taiwan if you have time. Taiwan is a great place to visit. The food is excellent an the pollution isn't near as crazy. Korea and Japan are great also.

X2 on all of that. Spent many years over there wandering about the "Orient." Even brought home a souvenir. My live in Chinese chef/maid. Now, if I could just get her away from the tv and baseball games.
