Couple years ago I was pulling into a parking spot and somehow barely brushed the back driver side fender on a Ford Taurus. Waited till the owner showed and told her what happened. She looked at it and asked where I had brushed it; the body molding was scruffed up about 3"s long and she blew it off. End of the month rolled around and noticed my insurance premium had gone up. Contacted my agent and asked, he informed me it was for the damage on a Licoln I hit to the tune of 3500.00! I had given the lady my info and I am assuming they had a Lincoln that needed repairs. I told my agent what really happened and he said I should have not ever waited for the person. I went with a new insurer.
