How to get rid of old shotgun shells?

I've got some 12ga shells that were reloaded about 30yrs ago. How or where do I safely get rid of them? I don't trust them enough to shoot.

Yeah had a friend screw his gun up and almost blew his face up with old ammo don't shoot that stuff for sure

Me too I have a bunch of plastic Wanda shells. Tried to shoot them and the plastic broke and stuck in my 1100.

Take them apart and reuse the gunpowder.

I'm sure you can take them to someone who reloads and they could break them down to reuse the shot

Take a razor knife and cut the shot out of them, pull the wad, and dump the powder out..

First few that crack off puts the fire out...

Cut them in half with a pocket knife.
