Working the TTHA show in Houston at the West Houston Archery booth, I met some pretty cool folks - One being the local Mathew's rep Ryan, and the other being Staff Sergeant Bruce Heckendorn. Bruce is an injured soldier and as part of his rehab decided that he would like to get into a archery and bowhunting, he test shot the new Creed at the show and really like it. Ryan from Mathew's quickly handed him a card and told him to get in contact him when he was ready for a bow. Fast forward a few days and Bruce was rigged out with a fully loaded Totally Lost Creed with all of the latest and greatest accessories.
Mathew's stepped up and got him a brand spankin' new Creed, rest, quiver, all the cool guy Mathew's stuff. Glenn, Bryan, and Rick at West Houston Archery got him setup and shooting and covered all the latest accessories. I was able to take up a small collection from our group of guys that do a lot of shooting and hunting together and we got him a good SKB case to keep all his gear safe. Buffalo Field Archery also stepped up and donated a yearly membership to their club. There are even some possible hunts planned for in the future.
I can't say enough how great it was to work with all these guys and get Bruce rigged out, it was truly remarkable.
Keep your eyes open and if you ever see Bruce at the range, on a hunt, or just passing thru, make it a point to thank him for his service...
