What LED light bar did you go with? I am looking to get one also. A guy I work with bought one of Chinese knock offs...they seem to work very well!!

I put a 24" Chinese knock off on my ranger and it works great. I wired it up to the battery using a relay and a dash switch. It was pretty easy and worked out great.

I got some at the handy hardware show I was working got 3 LED bars for 85 $ retail is about 400 for all of them.

Will the stock wires handle the load? I know its not much more power but still

Stick with Plashlight. Expensive: Worth it IMO. Works when needed. I put a 24" double row on my boat. Wow.

Also, I would run a separate switch.

If you want them wired in on your headlights, go buy a relay rated for the amperage the lights pull. Splice into your headlight wire going to the lights and run that to the control side of the relay. Then run power to the power side of the relay, an output wire to the lights, and ground the lights to the frame. Using the relay ensures that any problems you have with the LED lights won't interfere with the headlights.
