    Question for the Scoring Crowd

How do you score a double main beam buck...The one below? My cousin works on a ranch and this one is running around. He was wondering how to score it. Thanks.

HOLY..... Start by sending me out there. We can score him easier when I've put an arrow thru him!

Im pretty sure they have the sheds from last year. It looks like the ear tags were edited out of the photo.

          he is awesome. 212''

I'm not an official scorer but I would think you would score the 'top' rack as you would any other deer and the double beam would all go as non-typical.

Same as you would for a deer with drop tines.

Why would they photoshop out the ears?

Not sure, but the "extra" main beam with the drop looks pretty clearly photoshopped, IMO.

In the case of a double main beam the extra beam is counted as a non-typical. The picture looks like a bad photoshop, you should be able to see some part of an ear from that angle.

I score them with a knife right before I throw them on a grill.
