    Left Hand Bow tuning

    Bowtech Insanity CPX
    62#

    Arrows are
DCA 350 Pathfinders Pro with wraps and lighted/weighted nocks @ 27.5" with 100 gr points
Broadheads are hitting Low left like "6 low and 6" left.

Easton Lightspeed 400 @ 27" are hitting low left also not as dramatic as above more like 4" low and 4" left

    Field tips are grouping good

help but remember that I shoot left handed

Some broadheads are worse than others. I'm convinced that your bow can be perfectly tuned for bareshaft with field points and will still not digest some broadheads. I wish that I could help you but I am no expert in tuning for broadheads. I went by the book two years ago. Paper tuned. Walk back tuned. Bareshaft tuned, and my bow still shot broadheads low and right. So after about three days of trying to do things the right way, I indexed up about a half dozen broadheads, adjusted my sights so that they would hit where I was aiming, and practiced with broadheads all through bow season. The closest that could get the field points and broadheads was about four inches. I could not live with that.

Well I tried 2 different style of broadheads,

      A 100gr slick trick
      and 1 100gr Ram Cat

They hit basically the same spot

There is also erratic arrow flight. the nock makes a 3/4 circle clock wise on the way to the target in about a 6" arc.

I'm lefty, but no expert by any stretch. Sounds like you may be getting some contact somewhere. Light contact may be virtually unnoticeable with field points, but the aerodynamics of a broad head will make it apparent, if not exaggerate it.

Well the dca are .006 striaght not .003 or .001. It's best to cut 1" off the back an then cut the rest off them front. That's what I did with my dca and they fly great

Maybe some arrow tuning is in order. Try indexing the vanes and blades. That made a big difference on my fliers. You may want to get an idea on your FOC too

350s cut as short as you have yours may be way too stiff

By the chart right on the line between 350 and 400. But the light speeds are 400 and they are hitting the same low and left just not quite as much

Before I selected my hunting shafts I would do several things to make sure I have the very best set-ups for hunting, make sure that your have very clean "square" ends on your shafts DONT glue in your inserts yet, TUNE them first.

Use a SMALL amount of glue on your insert, just enough to keep it from pulling out in the the target. Each arrow might be different start off lining the broadhead blades up with your fletching and shoot them to check the flight and were it will hit , keep making small adjustments to the broadhead and fletching till it hits were it needs to be.

It does not matter that you are left handed or right handed brother..
