We are living in a camper right now, and the AC runs great and cools pretty quickly, but there is a really big problem... It smells like sewage. What could be causing this? We have 2 units that are mounted on top of our trailer, and they both emit this odor when running. Any ideas?

Although I know Rod is joking, I learned when sewer is hooked up to leave the dump valve closed. RV toilets aren't the best at holding water in the bowl and without a ptrap to stop gas, well ........
Go up there and cover the sewer vents to eliminate this possibility......

Well, our camper doesn't have holding tanks. I know that sounds strange, but it doesn't. We also have a real toilet. It's strange because it doesn't happen all the time.... We have one unit at the front and one unit at the back, the one in the front only smells sometimes, the one in the back smells all the time. Ill get Jared to look into getting some of that cleaner. Thanks!
