Where to live around San Antonio

I would say that 281 North of Bitters out to Bulverde is the nicest large metro area in the state. If I had to live in a major city that would be my choice.

I just built in Pipe Creek/Lakehills area. We love it. Between Helotes and Bandera. Bandera School District and country living about 20 min from town.

I live off of Bitters and 1604 area called Inwood. The are four Inwood subdivisions and the neighborhoods are great. I also have two small children and these neighborhoods are perfect for them since they are gated. I live in Forest at Inwood subdivision. I really like our location between 281 and I-10 on inside of 1604 and if you want to go to 281, you just head down bitters and you're there. I also work near I-10 and 410 and the commute is easy. Head down Huebner to NW military and turn south towards 410. Like everyone says, we avoid 1604 & 281 intersection except to go to Costco. The schools around here are great too. I really love where I live and haven't seen too many places in SA I would rather live. BTW my brother is a realtor Keller Williams and I am a loan officer with Gold Financial Services (which my cousin owns).
