just use a live trap with some cheap cat food in it, have a rope tied to the trap so you can drag it away from your house down wind
pop it thru the lungs with a pellet gun, they seem to spray more often if they are shot thru the head.

If you are outside the city limits you can also put up a bug light away from the house, the skunk will be around it eating the dead bugs, just shoot it

Didn't know about the bug light thing. I may give that a try as well

Get a piece of tyvek house wrap and wrap around the trap. Not stink, no problem.
