    Name help

My boy is due in december and Im having trouble with the middle name. His first name will be layne. Ive thought of wesley which is my name or waylon. Help me think of some others. The only reason were not going with wesley for the first name is I think jrs are always confusing in conversation.

Wesley Layne and just call him Layne from day 1. He registers for school with his legal name, and you have the Kindegarten teacher call him Layne. My family tradition is all 1st sons are William. My son is William Ryan and all his life he's been Ryan. When his Mom calls him Westly Lane, he'll know he's in trouble for something. Easy solution.

Use your middle name instead of your first.

First sons in our family all have the same middle name. 5 generations now. Had to start somewhere.

Might have to move the first name to the middle
