    Fishing for a 6-yr old

Any of you folks know of a hole that needs thinning?

    West Houston area.

My 6 year old son is begging me to go fishing and I was thinking about getting a guide to take us out. Thought I'd run it by you guys first to see if someone had a farm pond that was overstocked.

Not looking for big fish - just some steady action for him.

look at tom bass park near 288 and the beltway area. i have been told there are fish there, but not sure how good it is. Since its a county park, the grass around it has to be pretty well maintained too.

I take my daughter to Mary Jo Pekham park in Katy. I do pretty good there.

get a small ultra light spinning rig with 6lb power pro line and 1/8 oz crankbaits colored in chartreuse w/ blue back!! you will absolutely slaughter the perch and your kiddos will have a ball!!!! might even catch a few bass as well!! smaller swim baits in perch patterns will sork also!!
