Hello everyone. It has been a heck of a year. I came home at the end of August. My mom took a terrible fall in May and broke her pelvic bone. After two stays in the hospital and an extended stay in a nursing home, she is now back at home and improving each day.
Mississippi was nice and the gambling/casinos were great! However, I never won more than $50. But...I did eat alot of snowcrab and dungeness crab, boiled shrimp and a few mudbugs.
Never knew they were called mudbugs until living there.
Living in the destruction zone of Katrina really makes one ponder on their own blessings as so many were left with nothing. New Orleans was worse and I visited there a couple times and took in some good food in the French Quarter.
I'm happy to say that I went hunting two weeks ago (rifle though) and am planning to go back on Sunday! Yippee!! I don't have my bow tuned and have left it alone for a while, but I'm thinking I might do something about that soon.
Well, just wanted to chime in and tell everyone hello and I missed the fellowship here and also decided that after hunting for four years, I couldn't bear to give it up.
Gotta run now because if I stay any longer, my attorneys will want me to stay and keep working!!!
