I've watched a friend of mine Kill 2 deer with them. One broadside shot through the heart and one quartering away double lung shot. They worked as advertised but with that shot placement I believe any broadhead would have done the same thing. They are a little noisy which we fixed by putting a little bowstring wax in the gap where the blades go to keep them from vibrating.

It's a mechanical BH. There is always the possibility that it will malfunction. A buddy shot a buck last year perfect shot behind the shoulder, maybe a rib or 2 back but plenty good. Somehow it took a 90 degree turn in the chest cavity and cam out on his opposite flank. He ended up having to call in a tracking dog and deer was still alive dragging his intrels. Not saying it was the broadhead but something very strange happened to make a perfect entry turn into a horrible exit. He is sticking with fixed heads from now on.

I shot 2.25" shwackers out of my 60lb matrix and now out of my 70lb rkt element. They kill the shot out of hogs for me. Group well out to 60yds.
My wife shoots the 1.75"s out of her recurve crossbow with good results. Neither of us has ever had one not pass through.
I don't get why people say small entries. If you're shooting from ground level, on a perfectly broadside animal, you will not get less than a 1" entry. Most of my shots I've gotten 1.25"-1.5" entries. No smaller than most fixed blades.
I have bent ferrules and bent blades. Never had one come apart or break, just bend a little where its not straight anymore. Ill continue to use them.
