    Trail Cam Fix

I have a Wild Game Nation Trail camera that is working okay but either a squirel or bird broke out the white plastic piece over the scensor. I just don't want rain or dirt to get down in there. Do any of y'all have any broke trail cameras that may want to part with? I just need to be able to fix/replace this piece. Any help would be great. Here is the model number info:
    Serial# 0258-0511-003256
    SW Version# N304272011
    Model# N3
I contacted the company and they said they would send me one if one came in and they would part it out. But who knows when that would be.
Thanks you can pm me and I will take care of shiping if need be or I will pick it up.

Take a white milk jug and cut you out a couple of new ones. Make it a tight fit so you have to force it in, but not wrinkle it. Should work fine.

They are called a Fresnel Lenses. I had same issue with wood peckers. Did a lil research and ordered several different types in an attempt to repair. They aren't very expensive, but it's gotta be the right one or it won't work. Mine is just okay at best. The camera manufactures wouldn't repair, tell me how to repair, only replace entire camera. Oh, critter damage not under warranty.

The other repair I have done on the older film TC was to take a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe and glue it over the hole for the sensor. Then take a thin trash bag and pull it tightly over the open end of the PVC pipe and use electrical tape to secure it tightly. Make sure it is level and flat. Worked great on older cams and was a cheap fix. Just keep you some extra handy when checking TC cams sense coons love to tear it off.

Not sure where you are located but I have the same camera that I do not use anymore. You can have mine if you can come and get it.

Is a cheap trial if it doesn't work for you. Cut one out, put it in place and set the camera up in the house to take pics so you can check them right away.
