    Need A/C capacitor...

    Any of you ac guys have one available around the Round Rock area?

    Mine went out last year I went to grainger and got another........it was like $25

      I know Lowes in Bryan use to have them. If Granger isn't open, try Lowes...

        Dual capacitor either a 35/5 or 45/5......maybe an hvac person can pin point

              I just replaced mine from grainger also. I will tell you this, if the fan was on for a while and not turning, the motor is probably shot. I thought mine was fine since it started up with the new capacitor. Ran a week and quit turning. I lucked out and didn't hurt my compressor. Went to grainger again and got a new fan motor to replace it with.

                          Good luck. I replaced mine on Tuesday. Too hot for the AC to be out in the house. Hope you get it taken care if today.

                            Get a good one like a turbo 200 not that hecho en Mexico crap and put in a hard start kit and get more life out of it and every other component in that unit.

                            As stated above, if it was on for a long time with a blown dual cap, that fan motor will get extremely hot and you can plan to replace soon.
