    Kemah area fishing locations..no boat?

Making a trip to Kemah on the 19th with the wife. Wondering if there are any good spots to fish from land or piers. I plan to go to the old places in Bolivar I have fished prior to the last hurricane and see what they are like now. Any help would be appreciated.

Good sandy bottom for the most part. You might run in to some spots that have a bit of a mud "crust".

Sylvan beach in La port is a very nice pier. Pay a small fee at the bait shop . Seabrook flats just be careful walking around the pilins . 18th st is nice because if you get to hot you can go in the restaurant an cool off.

Seabrook Flats are a good suggestion from above.
If you have a Kayak its even better, wear a lifejacket!

I'd post the link, but my post count is under 5, so no links allowed.
Google "Clear Lake Shores Kayak Rental" This place is right next to Kemah.
