    Poor doe...

..has a deformed snout and some nasty looking skin disorder. She's been relatively calm with me walking in/out of the house for months now. I've even seen her look at me like "are you gonna feed me?", and then walk a few yards away from the feeder when I've gone out and hit the "test" button for her. Her nose looks like a birth defect or maybe she got kicked when very young. Other than being bent downward, she appears to be able to eat just fine. Her loss of hair seems to be getting worse and the mosquitos are probably having a feast everyday. I hate to see this on any animal.

Might make a cool euro mount. I bet she is fine though. The loss of hair i think is a summer thing because ours do the same thing

            Probably just losing summer coat

The roman nose is unique to her but the skin condition is perfectly normal this time of year. Some deer have worse than others. Come October, her coat will be slick like the others.

The reason her hair looks like that is she transitioning from summer coat to winter coat

I have a doe with the same thing. although her nose is bigger then this one. She does breed every year so hard to shoot her when shes popping out babaies every year. i think this year though will be her last

Yep that may not be a doe.

Sometimes an older doe will show stained hocks when they have had a fawn.

Her nose has been broken at some point in her life. She is also showing her fall coat of hair already under her already shedding summer coat.

In both pictures her tounge is hanging out. She might have had a facial/jaw injury that prevents her from keeping her tounge in her mouth. Either way, it doesn't appear to be hindering her eating capabilities and she appears otherwise healthy.

Kicked in the face by another doe would be my guess.
