    unplugging my deep freezer

Out meat now, no need cooling an empty freezer in the garage. Going to let it thaw out, clean it, and save some electricity for the next month or so until I can get some hogs, dove, or fish!

Season can't get here soon enough for me!

Yea I thought about that. Freezer is about 12-15 years old. I'm more doing it to thaw it out, clean it, put new weather stripping back in the back corners, etc. then will turn it back on. I was reminded tonight that we have my daughter's b-day party at the house on the 18th and that freezer is going be our ice storage. If it doesn't start running when I plug it back in, then I'll definitely get the pass to go buy a new one.

Anyone have some deer or hog meat they want to donate to the empty freezer?
