Best work boot for heavy guys???

Im not the lightest feller around and am on my feet constantly. Do construction for a living. Seems like every 6 months im buyin new work boots due to stitchin tearing or padding wore out or worn down heel. Ive tried using inserts for my flat feet and nothing seems to work. Now my back hurts after long days ankles kill me feet hurt more tired of being in pain. I know my weight dont help but still this is ridiculous.

        Go with Red Wings.

You should replace the insoles every few months.

Pay attention to which ones you get, there are cheap ones made overseas, but the good ones are still made in USA.

We have to wear red wings or our company won't pay for them but I've had good luck with these Irish sitters they are a red wing shoe lace up steel toe, they are reasonably light the steel toe is some kinda composite

Red Wings…You are going to drop $100-200, but they hold up VERY well. I have several pairs..I think the oldest go back to 1991. You can get them resoled. I used to live near their factory in Red Wing, MN. They have been around forever. I think they had the first boot contract with the Army in WWI. They have forgotten more about making boots then most these new companies know.

The last pairs I got were from a small local shoe store who sell red wings. They had a boot called worx. These fit my wide feet pretty well, are steel toed, and made by red wing. I think they were 120. For me they were better than the red wings.

Go to a red wing store. They have "professionals" that will get you fitted for the correct boot and they will also help with insoles.
