Well Wife and i finally finished all the paperwork to adopt kids. Well today we were matched with 2 different siblings group. The next step is to see if we get chosen as the family that the lovely children will call home.

That's awesome! We adopted a little girl (whew, why didn't someone tell me about girls vs boys!) after fostering for a couple of years. She's has certainly become the apple of my eye and definitely runs her three brothers...
I heard a statistic once that if every church in the US would adopt one child, there would be none without a home. It breaks my heart the situations that are out there, but I applaud you for stepping up

we were planning to adopt two little girls a few years back. There were four siblings and the other two siblings were being adopted by a good family we knew in the same town.

We went to classes, got everything checked, bought beds and clothes, painted room pink, etc.

State changed their mind at the last minute and we got screwed.

They wanted all 4 siblings to be adopted together. We had already planned to meet both sets of siblings every week plus they were in the same school district.

WE WERE DISTRAUGHT AND SAD AS WELL AS MY SON AND DAUGHTER.

We heard about a year later they were all adopted by one lady but she could not handle them and gave them back to the state less than a year later after adopting them.
