Just a little reminder check your stand over before season starts and make sure everything is intack and working properly. Had a ladder stand that I practice out of fold on half on me today while shooting out of it.

Dang. I'll be checking mine out closely this year. I've got two of them that have been out for three years now.

Checked mine out yesterday. Replaced the screw in pegs with a 20ft stick ladder and ratchet straps but for a ants nest I need to get rid of. Probably do that this Sunday. Everything else is good to go. Glad you are ok.

When i inspected afterwards it had rusted inside where they slide together.

Glad your ok. I had a one do that a few years ago while on the ladder half way up at 5:30 am.
