Anyone else make the switch from PC to Mac and regretted it?

I have been using Windows based computers since i can remember, recently picked up a 2011 Mac Book Pro and I feel dumb, nothing is intuitive like so many have said and I am seriously considering and have actually used my Windows 8 laptop more in the past few days than the Mac.

Nothing feels intuitive, everything seems to take longer to accomplish. Am I the only one?

Seriously though it does take some adjustment. A year later I can never see myself going back to PC.

Noooo way. I have owned 2 laptop pc and a desktop and they always let me down eventually. Went apple 4yrs ago and we have yet to have any issues.

It took my wife 2 weeks to adjust now she hates using a windows base pc

You'll get used to it, just a bit of a learning curve. The problem is that you have to start thinking intuitively.

Rudyl - you are not the first person to tell me that. Spending some time on lynda.com to get trained up.

Can anyone recommend a good note taking app? I have used One Note for years and it currently is not available on Mac and I am not a fan of the web app.

Give it time. I used PC growing up and made the switch to Mac products about 6 years ago. Couldnt be happier. It took me some time to get used to them but once you get them figured out you would be surprised how fast you learn to work on them.

never had a pc that lasted me more than a couple of years, had my same mac book pro since 2007... still runs great! def a learning curve at first but would NEVER go back

I love the Mac to surf the net but I can't do jack with it otherwise. And I'm pretty computer savvy.
