Dove hunting with a bow!!!!

I have been trying this with my longbow for the last two seasons! I have yet to get one out of the air, but I will! The first year I was using flu-flus and they were just too slow. LAst year I ditched the flu-flus and got real close....but still no hits. I only get to dove hunt once or twice a year so I do not get many opportunities and I have not been able to hunt in a place where there were tons of birds like he was on the video.

Wells has a great advantage using the compound in that he can draw and hold. One of my biggest problems with the longbow is that they see me moving during the drawing of the bow and turn. Once they turn, they are headed away from you and you cannot hit them.

Anyway, I'm gonna keep trying!
