Palo Pinto is a sleeper Co imo,There are some nice bucks in the area.I used to hunt off 337,and 130-140" bucks were common

Lots of wildlife (for the most part) and expect about 150" to be the top end

There's some dandy deer out there! I frame a lot out that way and know the whole area very well.

1st- Mary's cafe in Strawn is the best food around....PERIOD!

2nd- there's a ton of Audad out there

3rd- there are a few hogs, but not a whole lot. Please do your part to keep it that way?.

4th- Mary's cafe in Strawn is the best food around....PERIOD!

                You lucky dog!

Palo Pinto County deer...These were taken 2 years ago. My son was 7 with his first buck. The other one is my husbands deer, taken a few weeks apart.

Yes hogs are there too. We just moved from Santo.

My buddy has a ranch about a mile outside of Santo and they have free ranging aoudad. I think the biggest one killed that we know of was in the 35" class

First of all, there are no Aoudad in Palo Pinto, state trappers came in and removed them all. 9 miles puts you real close to the lake, many deer around there.

Another good place to eat is the Lone Camp Depot on 4 in Lone Camp right on 4. A couple just bought the store and changed the name but same cooks and good food.

They must have missed some! Saw several around the lake a couple weeks ago!

I've got a place north of Mineral Wells, seen plenty of good deer!
