    Tree trimmers in SETX?

Anyone recommend a reputable tree trimmer around the Orange area? Got several oak trees needing thinning pretty bad. I have a climbing belt and tree spikes and have already tackled some of them, but there are several limbs I want to go and are to high for me to attempt! One of them is over an above ground pool too.

I believe his name is Malcom, yes I've had him take down several trees. He lives out here in Mauriceville.

Don't let someone prune your trees wearing gaffs (spikes). I'm in the tree biz. Gaffs cause long term damage to your trees and are a out dated practice. Gaffs are used for removals only.

This ^^^^^ Never spike a tree you intend to keep. I'm an Arborist as well and the only time I'll use spikes is on a removal or on Mexican Fan Palms to remove dead fronds. Orange is a little far for anyone I know.

So what do yall use to climb trees then if you don't wear spikes?

Ropes and harness or a bucket truck if accessible. Preferably rope and harness due to root compaction from a bucket truck.
