Questions on the public draw hunts

I am applying for draw hunts in several different categories. Some of the hunts I want to apply for are on the same dates as a hunt I want to apply for in another category. Example - the "Gun Deer, Either Sex" hunt that I want to apply for is on the same days as the "Gun Mule Deer" hunt that I want to apply for. Also, the Guided Gemsbook Hunt is on the same days as the Guided Scimitar hunt. I don't expect to actually draw any of these hunts. I just want to build points and if I happen to win one that would be an unexpected surprise. I just don't want any of my applications to be disqualified for any reason.

    So my two questions are:

    1. Is it ok to apply for hunts that are on the same dates as long as those hunts are in different hunt categories?
    2. What happens if you were to hit the jackpot and actually get drawn for two different hunt categories that are on the same dates?

    1 yes
2 you only get to hunt one draw if you draw two that are on the same dates. You will lose your points in that category when you draw, so consider this carefully. You can, however, draw two hunts that partially overlap and hunt both as long as you can be present at the orientation for both. In essence, you'll have to leave one early to get to the other.

In my experience of putting in for 25 years your chance of getting selected for 2 hunts at the same time is almost nil.

Pick the one you want to go one the most and select that date.Put in for the others but exlude the same date so you don't get drawn on the same date and lose points.
