So as the new guy I have lots of questions. I am in the practice practice practice phase but where would be a good fairly close place to go hunt small game such as rabbits near Kingwood/Humble area. I am mostly just curious at this point because that is something I am going to want to do eventually.

Sam Houston national forest I would think. Make sure you have a public land permit. -
OH yeah I got one. Now if that permit only came with a truck.....the wife hates it when I drive the Kia down those roads.
