Wounded Warrior Non profit, Need some help

Hey all, I run a non profit org called Lone Star Warriors Outdoors, www.lonestarwarriorsoutdoors.com. I am set with hunts for the guys from Nov 1-Christmas, BUT, I have about 6 guys that I have no room for. If anyone has some MLD3 land and would like to host some guys for a weekend to shoot cull's or really anything you can offer, we could use it. I have most of the month in October open and Jan and Feb open.

If you have never hosted anything like this, I will say it is something that you will never forget. The hunt is awesome, but the biggest part of it is the talking at night. With PTSD you have to talk about what is on your mind and it always happens. You will learn more about war and the feelings left behind (good and bad) than you ever thought you would. It really is a time that you will never forget.

We are a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization. If interested or want more info, please email me at chris@lonestarwarriorsoutdoors.com or call at 903-253-5604. Check out our web and facebook page for pictures and stories and more information about hosting.

Sorry if this sounds like an advertisement, didn't mean it to be, just looking for some opportunity for a few more guys. Currently I am taking over 50 guys hunting this year and looking for a few more spots. Thanks.

Thank you all. If you hear of anyone that has land, or a boat, we do fishing also. Pass the word please. Thank you.

Rascalarms, Just so you know, this is not the Wounded Warrior Project. My organization is different. We are pro guns unlike the Wounded Warrior Project. Additionally where with the Wounded Warrior Project 75 Cents of every dollar donated goes back to administration and salaries, we have no paid employees, so everything goes to the guys. Obviously there are operational cost such as gas to get to hunt, food etc, but it all goes to the guys we are taking hunting, or fishing. Thank you for supporting our Wounded Warriors, no matter what organization it is, I just had to clear it up as I am doing everything possible to distance myself from that organization. Thank you.

I was just asked about money. We are a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization, so if you are interested in donating, you may send donations of any size to:

                        Lone Star Warriors Outdoors
                        P.O. Box 131103
                        Tyler, Texas 75713

Anything over $250 will get a tax letter that you can use to claim on taxes. When we take these guys hunting (and a couple females this year) we pay for EVERYTHING, so they have no expense. There are a couple of hunts that we are doing where they will get a new rifle, scope, bino, knife clothing etc. So this is where the money is going.

You might try talking to the Nature Conservancy. Especially the guys at Independence Creek. It's out near Sheffield. They never fill there tags for does every year. Tons of Javelina also.
PM me for direct contact info.

I've never heard anyone at the WWP speak anti-gun. Can you share your source of fact?

I know there are several good non profit 501(c)3 orgs out there that support our vets. My son was lucky enough to be chosen to attend the last Warriors Weekend a few months ago. He and a few of his fellow active servicemen were taken down to POC and treated to an awesome weekend of fishing and entertainment. He said it was the most proud and honored he has ever felt since his enlistment. So ultimately these type events make a big impact.

Thanks again for your dedication and commitment to our troops.
