    Officially Jobless...Layed Off

    This is a wierd feeling knowing that I will not be waking up and going to work tomorrow morning. This sucks!

    Atleast I already have one interview setup while I wait for Collin County Sheriff Department to call me.

    Never would I have thought that I would experiance getting layed off at the young age of 24.

    Wish me luck!

    Man hate to hear it but sleep late and enjoy the hail out of it... other doors will open. Get to work at finding a better job after you're rested and ready to attack again.

                    Well that sucks. I experienced my first layoff when I was 24. They said they could no longer afford my services. Good luck on your next interview and good luck with CC Sheriff's department.

                      She is doing great and ironicaly she is now working for American Heart Associaton and is trying to find a second job due to gas prices. Now even more so becuase I got layed off with no severance package. Just a good ol' ya'll are layed off and good luck to ya!

                            Sorry to hear that Matt.

                            You might check with Frito Lay plants in the area. My dad has worked for them for 36 years and commented the other day that they were hiring a bunch of new folks in the area.
