Has anyone else not had any problems with it?

Try practicing shooting through it before season opens.

As a rule don't be worried with any fixed blade head. Research mechanical thoroughly, and finally no matter what the internet says, try a test short or two to confirm.

Rage broadheads are not good through it. Fixed blades or Grim Reapers work best IMO.

Plenty of deer have been taken on our hunting ranch with ground blinds and the shoot through mesh. If someone doesn't want to risk it, that choice is up to them. But using the mesh on a quick set up where a blind has not been there for a couple of days makes a difference. If you are shooting any kind of mechanical broadhead, I would tell you no. If your bow is well tuned and you are shooting fixed broadheads then I would say yes. You don't want to stretch the material tight, but you don't want it loose to where it has big folds in it either. I suggest you buy some extra material and put it in the window of the blind and try a few shots at different angels and distances and see for yourself. It does tend to hinder some people when looking through the peep sight in low light like in the very early morning or late evening. You just need to shoot through some of it yourself and see if you like it.

Almost every critter I shoot gets shot through the mesh. I would not shoot mechanicals through mesh though. I use a string tracker most of the time, and it works fine through the mesh also!

The only issue I have ever had with the mesh is if you try to take a shot where your arrow goes through the mesh at a VERY hard angle. Also, the mesh will rob you of a few minutes of daylight.

The extra mobility in the blind is well worth it to me!

Shot my first buck through it in 1994. Have killed a ton of animals through it since. Tested a bunch of broadheads through it. Mechanicals did not perform as well but some did fine. Fixed heads are no issues. You will not even notice a difference.

I don't use it, not because I'm scared to just because iv never seen a need for it.

I shoot through it all the time! I just don't ever shoot expandable broad heads through it!

I never shoot through it. It is too dark during legal low light times for me.

If your still using Montecs you won't have a problem. I shot thru it last year without any issue.
I did have to add a light to my sight though. Its to dark inside to see the pins.

No thanks on the mesh here. Don't need it in a blind with black interior in my mind.

No need to add another possibility for something to go wrong on that deer of a lifetime. It may work 50 times but it will choose an inopportune time for it to effect your shot. I prefer to just wear black and sit in a black interior box...

Ive shot several critters thru it with slick tricks. The only problem I had was when I was looking into the sunrise thru the mesh at a big fella. Couldnt see him well enough as the sun hit it and had a bad glare. When I went to move it down, an unseen doe spooked. Game over.
