    MLB Trade Deadline

    Who's going where?

I hope the Rangers acquire Giancarlo Stanton somehow.

M Young may be headed to the BoSox. Supposedly he has agreed to waive his no trade clause for Los Rangers and Boston.

I'd sure like to see Stanton in Arlington. Go JD!

Radio reports have the Rangers checking with Toronto on Joey Bats and Edwin Encarnacion. Either would be welcome. I can't believe the Blue Jays would part with either.

Stanton wont happen this season, hopefully in the off-season tho...I would be surprised if they were able to make a notable trade today.

I believe you are correct. I'd move Profar for Stanton before lunch!

Sounds like MLB has shifted gears on the suspension thing too, could lose Nelly after all.

I heard Perralta is hoping for a 5 game suspension instead of the 50 like everyone else. Not sure about that. But if and when we lose Nelly we are gonna be in a bind. If we think we need a stick now wait till his bat is gone.

The rangers offered 4 players to Florida that the gm was ready to accept, but their owner shot it down. No word on who the players were.

I think it has more to do with him not wanting to hurt his free agency next season.

I get the point, he wants to be available in case we make the playoffs but if he's not around, someone else is going to have to step up to make sure we even get to October! I'd fight it but I don't know all the circumstances.

I would make a similar trade offer for Bautista as Stanton.

I'd take Nellie gone for 5 games! That's not even a slap on the hand!!!

Supposedly the MLBPA has agreed not to fight any suspensions. Very unlike the MLBPA, but i guess we'll know soon enough.

Reports are coming out that mlb is threatening to double suspension if players appeal.
