Does anyone own one of the older Gravely two wheel machines?

This would be the kind made prior to Ariens buying the company. I love those older machines that you could buy multiple implements for.

Been thinking about buying one. The rotary plow looks like it could really rip the ground up.

My love of machinery is kind of funny at times. A couple years ago I was out in the country working on an old farm tractor I had purchased. As I was heading down a gravel road, I spotted just part of the handlebars on a machine stored in a barn. From the road you could not see anymore of it. I was right, it was an old Gravely. Only a machinery nut like me would have noticed.

It's up in Kansas. No mower but gardening attachments. I haven't gotten near it in years.
Wife's uncle may have sold it. It was cool looking at one time.

I had a regular single plow and a 4 bladed disk. I don't think the plow was original.
It was nearly impossible to plow and keep things straight. The machine wasn't heavy enough to get any traction.
I'll try to see if it's still around.
Rear tine tillers really put a lot of these things in the scrap yard.

Yeah, they are pretty neat looking. And, tough too.

I hear ya. Not sure if I want any of those produced in the 1950's & 1960's. Maybe some of the larger ones produced later.
