Trailer size for Polaris Ranger XP

I did a search for existing threads and only found info on width and not length. I'm looking at 77"x10' but wondering if I may need to go 12'. I measured the length of the Ranger it's about 9.5 feet from bed to tip of bumper. Just checking what everyone else has gone with for length. If I go with 12' I'll have little more room for gear and such but the 10' is cheaper.

Want to get TBH's thoughts on it. I'm torn.

    Thanks

I use a 6'x10', it works ok. Contact Oneway on here, he makes different models of trailers for us UTV enthusiast . He is the owner of Maxey Trailers, a TBH site sponsor.

I like a 12 footer for my ranger because I can still load more stuff behind it.

I've got a crew and I haul it on an 18'X77" tandem Maxey. If you're buying a trailer, get one bigger than you think you'll need.

Takes a 12 ft to haul a crew. You can get by with a single axle but if you are hauling any distance go with the double axle

If you have other trailers the 12 would work best, have room for coolers that you wouldn't have on the 10'. If you dont i'd probably go with a 16', nice to have room for stands or four wheelers on the same trailer.

Last year we bought a 77"X14' double axle w/ one electric break axle from BigTex. They by far had the best price and it pulls like a dream. It hauls a mule 4010 trans back and forth from the ranch(300 miles).

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going with the 12' now I just need to figure out a brand.

Anyone used a Performance Trailer? I looked at a 12' dove tail, ramp and pipe top that was pretty nice.

Performance Trailers is a leading manufacturer of dump-bed trailers with a Texas-based manufacturing plant located in Mt. Pleasant and a sales location in Phoenix, Arizona.
