Polaris Ranger 800 crew smoking. Help!

I just bought a 2011 800 crew, and it has almost 500 hrs on it. I have never owned one of these machines before, and don't know the quirks about them.

It starts fine, runs very well, and the engine doesn't seem to be overheating.
While it is just sitting and idling it doesn't smoke or anything, seems to be just fine. When you drive it for 5 minutes or so, it starts to smoke some from the engine compartment. I don't see any kind of oil leaks but smells like oil burning. When I stop the machine and it is still running, the smoking quits. I know the rangers are known for burning up belts, but I just don't know enough about them to diagnose the problem. Any ideas or past experiences with this issue would be very helpful.

    Smell like burnt rubber?

YOu could take off the cover and see what kind of shape the belt is in.

No marble tumbling sound, the only sound is the belt does have a slight squeal to it at idle. when you gas on it, it quits. I don't smell burnt rubber, it smells more like burning oil. could a bad belt be getting the transmission hot, and maybe that's the burning smell and where the smoke is coming from? Its not much smoke but it is enough to notice. Its a greyish color smoke.

Well its not the belt. Belt looks brand new, good and clean inside the housing, clutch seems to operating fine. Has anyone ever had problem with the exhaust system? Maybe that's what is getting hot and smoking a little bit. I've looked and don't see any thing leaking on to it. Maybe I should take it to dealer to have a good once over done to it. Probably wouldn't hurt to service it anyway. Idk, anymore ideas?
