I have a shotgun I'm not using and probably won't every use again. It's a Stoeger P350, 20" barrel, all the chokes including the Turkey Choke. All camo, pistol grip and shoots better than my brother's Benelli Supernova. I've probably put maybe 200 rounds through it shooting clays but that's about it other than a box of 5 Remington Sluggers. I got it to go dove hunting and turkey hunting, but those options are long gone for me. I have shot a box of 5 Remington sluggers out of it and hit a 3" circle at 70 yards. It can accept a mercury recoil reducer but I've never bothered to buy one. I don't know if I'm ready to sell it yet...have been thinking a lot about doing it, but I would have no problem letting you use it for dove season, if you want.

If my daughter or son did that, he or she would be getting the new shotgun or rifle or bow, not me.

John at Triple C welding built me a custom carrier for my mobility scooter and had it shipped for free, plus invited me and the wife to Diamond C the first weekend in March 2014. He's paying for everything but my gas to get there. Blake sent me a box of Ragin Blaze when I was in the hospital, and Cottonwood sent me a low draw recurve bow to shoot when my MS first started acting up and I couldn't draw my 50# longbow. Mary had helped me a lot too. This place is FILLED with selfless people and is why it's called the TBH Family!

When my son was in pre-K he won a baseball bat pen doing something at school. Well the next Sat he and I had to go into my work, and he was coloring and doing his thing when he came over a gave me that pen, and said "Daddy I want you to have this to remember me by when you are at work". That pen is still on my desk, and still bring a huge smile to my face when I look at it.

Ditto with bsimm. If you don't feel like buying a shotty yet, hollar. Go buy your daughter something cool and we'll loan you a scatter-gun for the season. PM if we can help.
