Permethrine? Ticks..

From what I remember from High School working at the Feed Store, Permethrin is the synthetic form of Pyrethrin which is an oil or something from a plant. 20 years ago most of the flea & tick sprays' main ingredient was one or the other. I would assume that it still works, but I don't know about the scent free part.
