What Model Bilstein Shocks

I have a 2004 Chev 2500HD crew cab 4x4 with the 8.1 gas motor. I want to replace the shocks with Bilsteins, but am unsure of the correct model to use, the 5100 Offroad or the Heavy Duty. Any advice?

I read a post on another forum the other day that said they had that brand shocks. One went out going 5 mph on a dirt mountain road and the company wouldn't replace it bc he was "offloading". Might look into their customer service b4 you make up your mind

I have 5100 Heavy Duty on my 1500 and love them you wont be dissapointed

I've ran 5100's on my offroad truck for years and recently put them on my HD. Never had an issue.

I would maybe call bilstein and ask what model number replaces factory shock for your truck. I have the silver 5100 heavy duty on my truck and haven't had any problems.
