Trapper got the net up for Aoudad

Trapper got the net up today to try and catch some of the Aoudads running around my place. Hopefully can catch 20 or so and get some of my feed money back.

That will be pretty wild with aoudad. They sure are strong. I usually only use nets for smaller animals like blackbuck and we just grab them and throw them on a trailer without any drugs.

Kparker, if the net is anything like ours, there are 4 small ropes on the corners and one on the post in the middle and all have small explosive charges inside them. When you are ready to drop the net, you connect the wires to a battery. That will blow the 5 charges, causing the net to drop. Then everything gets crazy.

How does it work?

This net has an solenoid in the center pole that drops and all four corners have heavy weights on them. Trapper says he has better luck with the silent drop style. We will see. Trapper is Alex Fuentes out of Harper.
