Many options to choose from already mentioned and all will work. You just gotta figure out which one you like best. I run my feeders for 1 second every morning and evening from February - August. I turn it up in September.

Same here. I actually cut the feeders down to one second and let them run out, then fill them in June or July. I will turn them back up in September or October.

This is the pattern I use and it seems to work

We have lots of hogs so we set up feeders to go off mornings only until season opens at least. Seems like hogs get most of evening corn during the night, and are less frequent visitors on morning dispensing of corn. Plus we can shoot em easier during day if they do come. You can even leave it mornings only during deer season and hand feed corn if / when you hunt evenings,

No problem at all setting feeder to go off once. Just be sure you don't hunt the wrong stand at the wrong time.

Has worked for me for years.

When I put out my first feeder this year. I set the three spin times to 3 seconds and on low spin. it still spins pretty dang hard though. after a month it had only emptied 1/3 of the 30 gallon barrel. It holds (5) 40 lb bags.

I keep three feeders going on three hundred acres. I also maintain them myself. Got two feeders going off for 4 seconds in the morning only and one going off for the same amount of time in the evening. Then like every one else does, turn it up to 6 seconds and have all feeders going twice a day come September.
