Yes sir, I had two deer leases there. one on the East side of the Hwy and one on the West side. The lease on the East side had more deer than Carter has liver pills. The west side was a different story, it was hard hunting.

I just wanna know a good spot to take my 13 year old step son. He has never been hunting and ever since me and his mom got together he wanted to go.

Hunted there a few years back. Lots of deer, and nice ones at that.

It really depends on your wants.

.if you want to see and shoot a lot of deer this is not the county for you.

.if you want the chance to shoot a doe in archery season and rifle season this may not be the county for you.

.if you want to engage yourself in quality deer management with good people this is your place. Make sure the property you find is in a WMA so you can shot your does thru out the season.

.bucks will vary in size depending on what part of the county you lease in.
