Have a Sporty that my FIL gave me. Haven't ridden much lately, actually over a year. It's actually at my buddies house due to no where to park it right now. He's kind enought to start it and blow it out every so often.

I looked at a Harley, but decided for something much more dependable, easy riding and about half the cost Most people think it is a Harley, I could care less, maybe I wont get that Harley Rider Complexion Bug that most of them catch....

I'm with Howard....bought a Honda VTX 1300C in May....it just hit 4,000 miles. I've already added a custom seat, 3" hard chrome pipes (way loud), mini floor boards, rear LED blinkers and a side mount license plate mount.

My next one will probably be a Honda Rune.....

Not a Harley - but she sure can scoot! Stripping all the junk off her and adding more chrome, braided cables and maybe a rear drop kit. Got me a custom seat since I took the pic as well.

Sold my 65 pan 20 plus years ago after my first child was born. Decided I needed to be a bit safer until they were older.
My oldest is in her last year at UT Austin (only two semesters of cash to go) and my youngest is 17 and ready to join the Navy next year so I figured it is time to start looking.
Been doubling up on some bills and putting some cash back for a good down payment so the monthly will not be that big of a hit.


Been leaning towards a Night Train or the Rocker, wife hates the jump seat on the Rocker.
Told her the seat is fine .. all it has to do is get her home from the bar.. next comment from her . my butt won’t fit on that little seat..
I thought about it for a minute and said…If the butt is too big for the seat then you need to get a smaller butt.. (that was not a smart comment to make)
I can’t repeat what she said next……………….I said ok Night Train

This last weekend the topic came up again and we were discussing financials and that by spring I should be ready to do it..
Her response was “if you quit deer hunting you will have enough right now to get it” I just laughed and said spring will be just fine..

Darn I need to learn that if it sounds like it will rub her wrong it will.. and keep my mouth shut.. After 23 years I should know better...oh well….
