Well its one of two things.

Your computer needs its temp files (Cache) Cleaned out.

Or the server that is hosting the pictures is having an issue and they aren't pointed to the correct location hence the "Red X" with picture not being found.

The one thing you can do is clear temp files.

      C:\temp
      C:\windows\temp
      C:\windows\system32\temp

You may not have all of those directories and don't worry if you don't. Just delete all the files therein.

Also you can go to control panel > Internet Options
      Click on Delete Browsing history
Then click on the Settings button > View Files
and delete all files in that directory
      Should take you to ::
      "C:\Users\mglass\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\T emporary Internet Files"

easy question would be, do you see pics on any other web sites?

probably just their image server is down or inaccessible.....

It could also be a setting in internet options > Advanced Tab > (Show Pictures)

On your Internet Explorer browser menu...make sure you can see the Browser tools. If you can't see the Browser tools, go to the left of the URL bar (white box with HTTP://www.websitename.com (example) and simply hover your mouse arrow over the gray area and right click one time. This will open up another pop up box, click the MENU BAR so it shows a check mark This will display the hidden browser tools

Once you see the browser tools that read FILE EDIT VIEW FAVORITES TOOLS HELP

            Left click TOOLS

A the bottom of the TOOLS Menu click the bottom Sub-Menu INTERNET OPTIONS

That will pop up another box with Tabs at the top. Select the tab SECURITY
at the bottom of that menu, click RESET ALL ZONES TO DEFAULT LEVEL
