Man that TT28 is a classic! My dad used to tell stories of him and his cousins tearin 'em up in the surf with that exact bait. I still throw it as a standard go to in the surf any time I'm lucky enough to get out there... that's probably 50 years or more since my dad used it.

I don't remember all of the color numbers, but here are a few.
28 is red back gold sides and yellow belly.
Black on top and bottom with silver sides.
Chartruese top and bottom with gold sides.
Purple deamon is all purple.

Another old faithful for both the bay and gulf side is tandem 2" little fishes in pearl white rigged on 1/4 ounce heads bounced along the bottom.
