I am about to buy the same thing for Karla except we are going with the SR5 with the premium package. We have looked at everything from Lexis to Tahoe to Audi to BMW to Jeep and she loved the 4runner the best.

I have always gotten above and beyond service from their sales group as well as their service department which is open on weekends and late week nights. They have repaired things for me under warranty that rightfully could have been denied. As I told the general manager there, the same thing I started this thread with, BUT, so far, this dealership and its people have done everything they said they'd do when they said they would do it and for equal to or less money than they estimated. To me, that is by definition of a good dealership. They also have a very large selection of most all 'yota's. My wife has a 4-Runner Limited and they have taken real good care of us.

In late but here's my experience... Stay away from Mike Calvert Toyota, on 610@Kirby(by the dome)
Went in to look, not intending to buy at the time. Found an 08 tundra that I liked, but knew the deal wasn't going to fly. Let my dad talk me into doing it in his name(he offered to help). Went into the finance managers office to do paperwork. They handed my dad the contract, he starts to sign without reading. I read over his shoulder, and find a handful of errors.
1st try, wrong vehicle(common ploy to force a renegotiation)
2nd try, $5000 higher than agreed upon price
3rd try, $2500 worth of extra loan insurance.
4th try, again with the wrong price.
5 contract(after tearing up and re-writing it 4 times) they get everything right...
Fast forward to Monday afternoon, he's on his way home from work when his cell phone rings. "Mr. *, We're really sorry but there was another mistake in the paperwork that our auditors caught. Can you stop by on your way home and resign?"
I ended up paying Full MSRP(7 grand more than the agreed price), plus a bogus extended warranty, and all the loan insurance BS. Totaled with a payoff $9000 more than what I agreed to. The entire situation is entirely my fault, as I should have never put my dad in that situation. But they @#$% sure took advantage of my dad's good nature.
Flipside... Do go check out Tejas Toyota. I had an issue on my Tundra, a couple years(and 80000 miles) after getting it. It basically suddenly barely ran. Took it to Tejas, thinking it'll be more expensive but at least it'll be done right... Turns out that it was a common issue on that series tundra, something to do with the smog control. Causes the whole thing to go into limp mode. Truck was well out of warranty(the one they forced on us didn't transfer to me), and they didn't have to do anything for me. BUT THEY DID! Took care of everything(to the tune of about $2300), and even gave me a rental for free while they worked on it. Don't know about their sales practices, but that's definitely worth me giving them a thumbs up recommendation.
Good luck!
Looks like a couple other folks had good luck with Tejas as well. Guess my experience there wasn't a fluke.
