It can be fun but it turns to work also LOL. And gets a little hot to say the least.

Not really rotational for those asking. It's more of a work while we have work. If caught up head home for 1-4 days. Then bolt back out once new lines are given to survey. So far, there's no end in sight for work but they lag a little on survey permission giving the guys a chance to come home on weekends.
The pipeline as-built crew will need to stay for 10-20 days straight until the jobs done.

This job is not best suited for guys with kids at home.

Now our company needs an experienced survey party chief or two. If anyone sees a crew running GPS in a small town and wants to earn a headhunter fee let me know.
Just needs someone with common sense and thats familiar with GPS equipment. My best guess is a small town surveyor would be happy to double their salary working out west. And sky's the limit for the right person as far as opportunity.
